Services Performed
- Verified oil leak. Oil leak looks to be coming from the rear main seal and oil pan. Recommend removing the transmission and replacing the rear main seal, pan gasket and rear camshaft gasket to the rear cover. Inspected the front and found the front cover seeping as well.
- Verified blower motor inop. Inspected fuses and circuits. Fuse is good. Verified power and ground to the blower module. Verified 12volts with the blower motor on higg through the low setting. Found no wire damage or melted pins. Suspect blower motor failed.
- Verified amp steps are inop. Verified power and ground to the step module. unable to verify signal power. Checked continuity between the dlc and the module. all good. manually gave the steps ground and verified proper operation of the steps. Steps do no operate with the doors open. Verified door ajar switches are oprational. Inspected the dlc connector and pulled it a part. looks like the circuit board has failed. Recommend replacing the circuit board and retesting.
- replace connector due to failed circuit board. Amp step obd connector removed and replaced. Verified that the steps are working as intended.
