    • Verified concern, check engine light on with misfire. Performed PCM self test – codes P0205 cylinder 5 injector control circuit, P0300 engine misfire detected, P0672 cylinder 2 glow plug control circuit, and P0676 cylinder 6 glow plug control circuit present. Monitored PCM misfire data pids – confirmed constant misfire count present in cylinder 5. Found TSB 23-NA-027 applicable to P0205 code. Removed right front wheel well trim, injector cover, and disconnected cylinder 5 connector for inspection – failed, found traces of fretting and black power. Recommend servicing pigtail, clearing codes and retesting.
    • Replaced injector 5 pigtail, cleared codes and tested for proper operation – passed, misfire no longer present. Check engine light on still, due to glow plug circuit codes; recommend diagnosing. Re-installed injector cover and wheel well trim.

    • Verified customers concern of mirrors and drivers side window being inoperable. Pulled codes and performed a self test of the Drivers seat module. No codes and passed the self test. Went to verify power and ground at the mirror adjust switch. Verified power but no ground. Tested the door harness and harness tested all good. Tested for continuity from the BCM to the drivers door and was unable to verify. Pulled the parking brake cable off and started to inspect the door harness and found burned wires. The burned wires run all along the drivers floor board and up under the seat. Multiple wires look to be affected and was unable to find the source of the damage. Suspect shorted wire causing the damage. Recommend replacing the Cab wiring harness and inspecting the connectors at all modules the harness is connected to for any damage or chaffing.
    • replaced body harness. checked for any other bad connectors, non found, suspect problem originated with original door harness
