- Verified concern, pulled code P0402. Removed air inlet tube and charger air cooler tube to inspect lower intake manifold = found EGR ports OK, and not clogged. Re installed components, cleared codes, and road test = code did come back. Access PCM data pids and commanded EGR valve, RPM, and VGT PIDS to multiple parameters to test for EGR flow and MAF sensor flow. Found EGR valve failing – recommend replacing.
