- Pulled codes and found: P0193 – FRP sensor circuit high bank 1 P01C6 – Fuel pressure sensor A circuit high P0335 – Crank shaft position sensor A circuit Monitored pids: fuel pressure and fuel rail pressure are reading correctly. Monitored RPM and there was no reading while the engine was running. Verified 5v reference and ground at the sensor. Suspect faulty sensor was installed. Recommend replacing the sensor with OE sensor and retesting.
- Removed the ckp with connector installed due to being unable to remove the connector. Found silicone stuck in between the pins causing the pigtail to not make contact with the sensor. Replaced pigtail and sensor. Verified no longer misfiring.
- Replaced pigtail.
